Leghari making futile efforts to return to politics

LAHORE - Provincial Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that Farooq Leghari, the remnant of Pervez Mush-arraf, has been rejected by the people in the political field, and now he is making futile efforts to come back in politics by levelling baseless accusations against the elected political leadership of the country.
He said that people were fully aware of Leghari’s ‘ungrateful’ politics and they also knew well that on what channel and on whose behalf he was speaking now.
Reacting upon the interview of former President Farooq Leghari, Rana Sanaullah said that if Farooq Leghari came down from his ‘Bunker’ Choti Zeereen, he could see that number of developments and welfare projects were being implemented in the Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. However, if he could not see the development due to his short-sightedness, there was no fault of the Punjab government. He advised Farooq Leghari to get himself examined.
Rana Sanaullah said that levelling of allegations by feudal lord against a popular political leadership of national level was natural and Leghari could not change his nature. He said that Leghari was not in favour of prosperity and welfare of the people. He said that Leghari was afraid of giving rights to the poor, agro-tenants and education to poor children.
