Farooq Leghari becoming a pariah of political arena: Rana Sana Ullah

Pakistan, Lahore, January 23, 2010, (Papera News): - Punjab law minister Rana Sana Ullah has said former president Farooq Leghari has become a pariah in the arena of politics and has indulged in mudslinging against the political leadership of the country to keep him alive in the media.

He said this while reacting to an interview from former president Farooq Leghari here Saturday.

He held Farooq Leghari should descend from his bunker "Choti Zareen" then he would come to know how many development projects and uplift programs were running under the leadership of Mian Shahbaz Sharif in the province.

Giving statement by him against the popular leadership is but natural being part of feudal mindset, he added. It was impossible for Farooq Leghari to change his nature now, he remarked.

Farooq Leghari was not convinced to prosperity and uplift of the masses and he was progressive to the extent of his personal gains, Rana Sana Ullah maintained. Leghari was part of the staunch feudal class which does not want the children of the poor segments of society become educated and sit side by side them, he underlined.

People were well aware of his politics of ingratitude, he said adding it was also known to every one on whose behest he was speaking, he remarked.

Farooq Leghari knew it well the way Nawaz Sharif had rendered him powerless by disarming him of 58(2)b, Shahbaz Sharif would end the empire of these so called feudal class by granting their rights to the people, he underscored.

The word ingratitude is meant for Farooq Leghari as allegiance and loyalty were not running in his blood, he held. It was major mistake of Benazir Bhutto and PPP to repose trust on him as such persons are put down in the pages of history in name of Mir Jaffer and Mir Sadiq, he observed.

The nation does not recognize him as former president but he is remembered the one who had minted dollars in return for Amal Kansi and had indulged in massive embezzlement in Mehran Bank, he added
